Switched to Bio-Mycin once a day and infusions 1 time a day. The area on the teat that has turned black no longer seems to be spreading. The udder is still very tender. Wondering about a copper deficiency. Want to stop infusions and milking - feel it's just aggravating things - also afraid to stop and want to do all I can, but everyone says it's not accomplishing anything as the tissue is dead and there is no blood circulating at this point. Andi seems very much herself except for the enormous, swollen, black teat in between her legs.Wednesday, May 14, 2008
